This is my third Kodak. It did not disappoint me. It takes excellent pictures and is easy to use. Love the image stabilization, so I get great pics even when using the zoom without a tripod. I have taken over 350 pictures so far on the battery it came with and it is still going strong. I do think it is pretty cheap of Kodak to not include a rechargeable battery, which means I had to buy one separately. Otherwise, the only con I have found is the lens cap falls off very easily.

The rooster sound is a public domain . wav file that I downloaded quite some time ago from a free sound effects page, and the bacon frying sound effect and title song are both used under a generous creative commons license from SoundJay. One thing that's been a real challenge for me as I've recorded these episodes is that the two cameras I use (an iPhone 4 in a custom tripod mount and a Kodak Z650) each have very different microphone gains. Sometimes the iPhone will lose the lower register of my guests' voices and I'll need to boost the volume/gain of the audio track or even occasionally swap in the audio from the other camera for that shot in the mixdown. The title song of the show, incidentally, is called "Iron Man" and can be heard in full on the SoundJay website along with loads of other great background music for your own projects if you so choose....

A Wet Train Show Weekend
We stopped in Norman along I35 for breakfast, and when we got on the Interstate once again at 8:30 am Amtrak 821 was on the radio coming south through Moore behind us. Judy allowed I could stop and let Amtrak catch up to us for one picture, so I... We had a great time as always and saw old friends while coming away with several bags full of model train items and memorabilia. The rain in itself would not have stopped me from taking any pictures, but as our plans were to drive back home early Sunday morning I wanted to spend the maximum amount of time at the show Saturday afternoon. It rained on us pretty much all the way as Judy and I drove to Olkahoma City on Saturday morning to attend the big annual train show. After the show closed at 5:00pm we drove over to Primo’s D’Italia restaurant in Midwest City where we had a great Italian meal before heading to our room for the night.
